Mid-State Technical College will host its spring graduation on Saturday, May 17. The outdoor ceremony is designed to celebrate all graduating students, their families and invited guests. Prevail Bank Shred Event Helps United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties

As a result of Prevail Bank’s Community Shred Day event in Wisconsin Rapids, $2,227 was raised for United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties, supporting families and individuals in need throughout the area.   Both Prevail Bank and Bank-A-Count pledged to donate $1 for every pound of paper shredded, up to a $1,000 each --- and the community rose to the challenge, bringing in a whopping 1,715 pounds of documents to be safely destroyed and recycled. Mid-State Technical College is offering a new Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC-R) Technician associate in applied science program. This June, Mid-State Technical College will host two sessions of HealthQuest: Nursing Exploration Camp for high school students to explore the role of a registered nurse.
